Enugu

Located in southeastern Nigeria, its capital is Enugu where the state derives its name. It shares boundaries with Anambra on the West, Abia State on the South, Kogi on the North while Benue and Ebonyi are on the East. Enugu and Nsukka are its major towns. Enugu has good soil-land, is mainly agrarian, and enjoys a tropical climatic condition all year round. The state consist of 17 local government areas.

Ekiti

Ekiti is a state in Southwest Nigeria. One of the last few states to be created, it was carved out of Ondo state in 1996. Ondo state borders Ekiti state to the north, Kogi State to the northeast, Edo State to the east, Delta State to the southeast, Ogun State to the southwest, and Osun State to the northwest. It consists of 16 local government areas. The state is mainly Yoruba speaking.

Edo

Edo is a state in the south-south geopolitical zone of Nigeria; Benin City is the capital. Edo State was created in 1991.
It is bounded by the states of Kogi to the northeast and east, Anambra to the east, Delta to the southeast and south, and Ondo to the west and northwest; the Niger River flows along the state’s eastern boundary. The state is made up of 18 local government areas

Ebonyi

Ebonyi is a state in southeastern Nigeria. Its capital and largest city is Abakaliki.
Other major towns include Afikpo, Unwana, Onueke, Edda, Onicha, etc. It was created in 1996. The State shares a border with Benue State to the North, Enugu State to the west, Imo and Abia States to the south and Cross River State to the east. Ebonyi is divided into 13 local government areas.

Delta

Delta State is an oil and agricultural producing state of Nigeria, situated in the region known as the South-South geopolitical zone. The state was carved out of the then Bendel state, in 1991. The capital city is Asaba, while Warri is the economic hub of the State and also the most populated. The state has twelve local government areas.
It is bordered on the on the North West with Edo and Ondo states; Imo and Anambra on the northeast; Rivers and Bayelsa to the south-east. The south and south-east are bounded by the Bight of Benin on the Atlantic Ocean.

Cross-River

Cross River is a state in South-South Nigeria. Its capital is Calabar, and its name is derived from the Cross River (Oyono), which passes through the state.
It shares boundaries with Benue State to the north, Ebonyi and Abia States to the west, to the east by Cameroon Republic and to the south by Akwa-Ibom and the Atlantic Ocean. Cross River consists of 18 local government areas.
